Birdies & Bets
Cookie Policy
This website uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. That's why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to accept or decline.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser, often to remember you or to follow you across other sites. Similar technologies do the same job in other ways, such as local storage, tracking pixels and device fingerprinting. We use none of them.
This website
www.birdiesandbets.com sets no cookies and uses no local or session storage, analytics, ads, pixels or fingerprinting. A shared scorecard page reads the card from its link inside your browser and saves nothing.
Services the pages load
Everything on these pages, including the fonts and animation code, is served from the site itself, so your browser contacts no other company to show it. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.), which, as of the date above, sets no cookies. Like any host, it sees your IP address and browser details, as our privacy policy explains.
The app
The Birdies & Bets iPhone app doesn't use cookies or track you. Your rounds and settings are kept in the app's private storage on your phone, as described in our privacy policy.
Controlling cookies
You can block or clear cookies in your browser's settings at any time. This site works the same either way.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add cookies that aren't strictly necessary for the site to work, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before setting them.
